Card Making · Sale-A-Bration

Yesterday I attended a Stampin’ Up! training morning for demonstrators.  It was the first one I had been to, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I learnt so much from my mentor, Julie Kettlewell, and met some lovely crafters too.

We made three cards using all new Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, which are free with every £45 spend.  The stamp set used in the above card is called Hello, and comes with the following phrases; hello, my friend, birthday girl, birthday boy and little sunshine.  It also comes with some small stamps for embellishing, such as a little sunshine, and a party hat.  It’s a great stamp set that covers most occasions.

We also used an SAB stamp set called Sky’s the Limit.  I love the vintage plane (I love all things vintage), and the classic style lettering in the sentiments.  Perfect for those male occasions, which I always find tricky to do. I can imagine this plane on a kraft background with “chocks away” stamped underneath. A good stamp set to have ready for Father’s Day!

I’m really looking forward to playing with both these stamp sets, and creating cards that will be ‘on hand’ for any occasion.  They are limited time stamp sets though, available only until February 15th. So get shopping!!!
