On Wednesdays my son goes to nursery for the morning, (woo hoo) so I woke up all excited to embrace some quiet crafting time. However, it didn’t start off well. I sat for a while procrastinating over what to do in the time I had. The list of cards I needed to make in this precious time was long, and I could feel the pressure. I looked at a few cards on Pinterest, and then decided to stop looking around, and just start playing with all the new goodies…. and have FUN!!
I loved the card we made at last week’s training, designed and created by my mentor Julie. So I decided to make a male version, as I have a couple of male birthdays coming up in the next month or two. I decided to start with gold balloons, punched out of gold glimmer paper using the new Balloon Bouquet Punch, and then find some neutral paper for background. I love this paper from the new Going Places paper stack, the natural Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla colours work well with the gold balloons. I finished it Linen Thread to create a natural, male friendly birthday card. That’s one job crossed off my list, phew!
Here are the rest of the supplies used to make this card, find them all at my online shop.
