Peek-A-Boo

April was a special month for one of my lovely Artisans.  She became a mother for the first time, welcoming a beautiful baby boy into the world.

I want to share a couple of bits I  made for her & baby. I won’t show them all as they are personal.

I started with tiny baby size Johnsons baby bath goodies, which I packaged in a cute pastel blue gift bag from Ikea (£2 for 4 bags). I loved the pastel colours, and knew they would look great with the Birthday Blooms DSP I had left over.

I made a little tag from the paper & embellished with Glitter Ribbon, and one of the tiny 2×2″ cards from the Project Life Moments Like These card kit. I stamped the card with a cute sentiment from the Suite Sayings stamp set.

I then had an idea for a notebook I got from Ikea too. Knowing what it’s like when you are a new Mum, I thought a journal with pre stamped months inside to simply tick when writing all about baby’s milestones & cute little moments might come in handy. The notes could then be transferred onto Project Life cards as and when Mummy has time & energy.

I realised the Peek A Boo tag would double as a bookmark for the journal too.

Lastly, I created a cute baby card using the Zoo Babies stamps, Going Places DSP & SAB freebie stamp Hello (which I just adore!).

I’m not one for perfect cards so I cut the giraffe and sunshine out in a higgledy piggledy kind of way. I also used a little splash Wink of Stella gold glitter  on “little sunshine” and the grass.

I can’t wait to see the Project Life pages my Artisan will create with her beautiful bundle of joy.

All the Stampin’ Up! supplies used can be found in my online shop.
