Paper Craft Project

Fairy Celebration

I have been allowing my inner sparkly fairy to stamp freely during recent craft sessions. As the world seems so sad lately, it seemed only right to sprinkle some magic fairy dust around.

I combined the Window Box Framelits with Fairy Celebration stamp set, et voila, I had created a magic fairy box to fit lots of sparkly gifts. The box was actually inspired by my son’s fairy box, which we used to help him let go of his dummy (or ‘ninny’ as he called it).

I used the funky new Pick A Pattern DSP (which I can’t get enough of!) to decorate the edges, the mushrooms seemed a perfect backdrop for my winged friends.

I also created a tiny set of 3″x 3″ notelets, complete with box. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits for the circle on the box. I love how they give that little professional finishing touch.  My lovely friend, Sonya, who has the most beautiful daughter, instantly wanted a set for her to send out little thank you cards.

Lastly, I stamped some super simple fairy images onto white card stock, as I thought they would look vintage chic in a nursery, or playroom. Just waiting for some of the gorgeous new gold library clips to complete these prints for easy hanging.
