This week I wanted to showcase the Sunny Days Ahead stamp set. Mostly because it’s a cute stamp set for summer, but also because I love all the positive sentiments.
I created the card above by simply stamping the lemonade stand image, the sentiment and the sunshine in Memento Black ink. I used this ink as it won’t smudge when using Stampin’ Blends to colour in. On the stand I used Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral for the flower pot & bunting, Lovely Lipstick for the flower itself, Pineapple Punch for the lemons, and dotted the water using the fine tip side for bubbly lemonade kinda look. I stamped the flowers on a scrap piece of paper, coloured them again with Stampin’ Blends, this time Calypso Coral on the left flower with Lovely Lipstick centre, and Petal Pink with Rich Razzleberry on the right. I then did some fussy cutting and stuck with dimensionals for that 3D effect.
I coloured the sunshine in the lighter shade of Daffodil Delight, and then simply went around the circle and the sunshine rays with the darker shade of DD. The border was simply hand drawn using a fineliner.
