Painted Seasons

Last week I was given the pleasure of playing with this brand new SAB freebie, thanks to Team Training with Julie over at The Paper Haven.

The first card we made was this gorgeous frame style card using Rectangle Stitched Shape Framelits, the Painted Seasons DSP and co-ordinating stamps and Well Written Bundle.

The flowers in this set are so en trend I couldn’t stop swooning over them! Julie has very cleverly designed this card by using a small piece of DSP cut up using snips.

I learned a new stamping technique with the leaves, using Lemon Lime Twist ink all over the leaf stamp, then a few random dabs of Call Me Clover around the edges. I love this blended effect!

For the second card I couldn’t bring myself to use the other side of this divine woodland scene, so I went a bit off piste and just created this simple card with it. I added a couple of sentiments from the Well Written stamp set, cut using the smaller Rectangle Framelits. The heart was added when I got home, as it was in my scrap pile. I coloured it in using my Stampin’ Blend as I only had white hearts.

This bundle is a Level 2 Sale A Bration freebie, which means it is yours for FREE when you spend £90. Not only do you get the stamp set but the papers TOO!! This is one of the best SAB freebies I’ve seen, so grab it while stocks last.

You can check out this bundle via my online shop, just click here.
