Spring

Welcome to our March Blog Hop, which has a Spring theme to it. We hope to inspire you with our paper craft creations, which celebrate all the beautiful new life that this season brings.

For my project I wanted to create a scrapbook page that used all my DSP scraps from our Spring/Summer 2019 range.

I started with a picture of some primulas I had cut out of a gardening magazine. I wanted to create a mood board full of gardening inspiration.

I used the Botanical Butterfly & All My Love papers to make this page. I adore the polka pattern paper in the butterfly set, and have made lots of creations with them. I will be sad when they retire at the end of this month.

I ripped the polka paper for the borders and then cut up lots of the flowers and stuck them on the edge using tombow & dimensionals. This was a great way of using all the flowers on the DSP that were around the edges and only had half or quarter showing.

I cut out the word “spring” using the Lined Alphabet stampset, on Blushing Bride card. I cut these out by hand, but you can get the co-ordinating framelits.

I drew a really simple border around the picture using a fine liner, and journaled next to it. To finish I added leftover stickers from Big Plans card kit, along with some tiny butterflies cut from the Botanical Butterfly DSP.

You will find all the products I have used below. Use Hostess Code 74GYPFXF when ordering online during the month of March, and orders over £25 will qualify for a little treat from me.

Any orders over £45 will automatically qualify for a freebie from the Sale A Bration catalogues.
