Continuing with the Wildly Happy stamp set, I created this card using alternative colours for a new baby card.
This was a result of LOTS of experimenting. The first experiment was watercolouring with black ink. I grabbed my aquapainter and squirted a bit of black ink onto a block and off I went. Having never painted with black ink before I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Like with any watercolour I just kept adding more ink as and where I thought needed it.
I then cut the two adorable bears out and worked on the Swirly Frame behind, embossing the circle frame in white on Basic Black card. I also embossed the sentiment onto black and fussy cut it.
I embossed another piece of black card using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and lightly rubbed my Wink of Stella and Chalk White ink onto it with my fingers to show the pattern in a rustic kinda way. I embellished with gold glimmer and vellum leaves using the Leaf Punch and then laid the whole thin onto some Petal Pink card for that a pop of colour.
The Wildly Happy stamp set will be available as of June 4th, everything else I have used to make this card is available to buy now. Simply click the products below to go shopping.
