Hand Lettered Prose

Hello hello,

Hope you are all having a lovely start to the summer.

This past week I’ve managed to find some ‘me time’ to play with the brand new Hand Lettered Prose dies & I absolutely adore them (like all things from the Stampin’ Up! catalogue!!)

They’re absolutely fab for creating your own sentiments, names, and quote type home decor. If you can imagine it, these letters can help you make it.

For the “hey” card I simply cut the letters out and splashed them with colour using an Aqua Painter in Flirty Flamingo and Seaside Spray ink. I mounted them using dimensionals so they popped out a bit more, and added a little heart from the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Die.

*Top tip for die cutting is to cut lots at one time, then store them so you have them to hand for when you next need them. I have lots of little Ikea trays and old pots to keep them in.

The frame above was made using a fairly cheap frame from The Range, swapping a photo for a piece of Whisper White card cut to size, then the Hand Lettered Prose letters, this time cut using Basic Black scraps. I love the # sign, and feel this could be used for sooooo much, especially humorous cards.

I stamped the family sentiment from the matching Praiseworthy Prose stamp set, which when bought with Hand Lettered Prose dies as a bundle works out cheaper. Click here to shop this bundle.

Wishing you all a wonderful week.
