Christmas Crafting

Toile Tidings

It’s been such a long time since I last blogged (I blame the school holidays for this entirely), so long in fact that the Autumn/Winter goodies have landed and I have been playing with some of these new Christmas beauties.

The new Toile Tidings Papers caught my eye straight away, as they are so vintage chic. I wanted to showcase the beautiful classic Christmas design, so I opted for a gift bag. These are super simple to make, and we will be showing you ‘how to’ at our Christmas Crafternoon event on the 26th October. Click here for more information.

I experimented making two different size bags, with simple tags.

With the offcuts from making the bags I made these cute vintage style Christmas tree tags using the new Pine Tree Punch.

Lastly, I upcycled a plastic tub I found in my kids’ playroom by covering it with a sheet of Toile Tidings, decorating simply with a sentiment from Still Scenes stamp set, the new candy cane style ribbon, a little jingly bell and some twine (of course!!!).

Up cycling whatever boxes/bags/tubs that you have spare in your home is really easy, eco friendly and a great way to enjoy some Christmas craft therapy ✂️ ⛄️

If you would like to know more about the products used above, or upcoming workshops please don’t hesitate to contact me.
